Abd al-Samad narrated to us: Yazid - that is, Ibn Ibrahim - narrated to us: Layth informed us, from Abu Burda, from Abdullah b. Qays, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in a prayer, then said: "Stay in your places, remain still." Then he went to the men and said: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, commands me to command you to fear Allah, the Exalted, and to speak a just word." Then he made his way through to the women and said to them: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, commands me to command you to fear Allah and to speak a just word." He said: Then he returned until he came to the men and said: "When you enter the mosques of the Muslims and their markets while carrying arrows, hold them by their heads, lest you strike anyone with them and hurt or wound him."
