حَدَّثَنَا مُهَنَّأُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ قَالَ أَبِي كُنْيَتُهُ أَبُو شِبْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنِ الشَّرِيدِ أَنَّ أُمَّهُ أَوْصَتْ أَنْ يُعْتَقَ عَنْهَا رَقَبَةٌ مُؤْمِنَةٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أُمِّي أَوْصَتْ أَنْ يُعْتَقَ عَنْهَا رَقَبَةٌ مُؤْمِنَةٌ وَعِنْدِي جَارِيَةٌ نُوبِيَّةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَقَالَ ادْعُ بِهَا فَجَاءَ بِهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ رَبُّكِ قَالَتْ اللَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَنَا قَالَتْ أَنْتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَعْتِقْهَا فَإِنَّهَا مُؤْمِنَةٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhanna b. Abd al-Hamid narrated to us - his father said his kunya was Abu Shibl - Hammad, that is Ibn Salama, narrated to us, from Muhammad b. Amr, from Abu Salama, from al-Sharid: that his mother had bequeathed that a believing slave be freed on her behalf. He said: O Messenger of Allah, my mother bequeathed that a believing slave be freed on her behalf, and I have a black Nubian slave-girl. He said: Bring her. So he brought her, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her: Who is your Lord? She said: Allah. He said: Who am I? She said: You are the Messenger of Allah. He said: Free her, for she is a believer.
