I (Ibn 'Abbas) spent the night at my aunt Maymunah's house. The Prophet (peace be upon him) got up at night and performed a light ablution, then stood to pray. Ibn 'Abbas did the same and came and stood to pray. The Prophet moved him to his right side. Then they prayed together, and then the Prophet lay down until he snored. The mu'adhdhin came to him, and then he went to the prayer without performing ablution again.
