حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَقْصَى الْفَسْطَاسِ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ دَاءٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَسْتُ أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالُوا بَلَى قَالَ مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ قَالَ مَيْمُونٌ فَحَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ عَنْ زَيْدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Maymun Abu Abdullah, who said: I was with Zayd ibn Arqam when a man came from the far end of the encampment and asked him about an ailment, and he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Am I not closer to the believers than their own selves? They said: Yes indeed. He said: Whoever's master I am, then Ali is his master. Maymun said: Some of the people told me from Zayd that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Allah, take as an ally whoever allies with him, and be an enemy of whoever opposes him.
