حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ كَانَ لِنَفَرٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبْوَابٌ شَارِعَةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ فَقَالَ يَوْمًا سُدُّوا هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابَ إِلَّا بَابَ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ فَتَكَلَّمَ فِي ذَلِكَ النَّاسُ قَالَ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنِّي أَمَرْتُ بِسَدِّ هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابِ إِلَّا بَابَ عَلِيٍّ وَقَالَ فِيهِ قَائِلُكُمْ وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا سَدَدْتُ شَيْئًا وَلَا فَتَحْتُهُ وَلَكِنِّي أُمِرْتُ بِشَيْءٍ فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Awf told us, from Maymun Abu Abdullah, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had doors opening into the mosque. He said: One day he said: Close these doors except the door of Ali. He said: The people spoke about that. He said: So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up, praised Allah, Exalted is He, and extolled Him, then said: To proceed — I have ordered these doors to be closed except the door of Ali, and one of you has said something about it; but by Allah, I have not closed anything nor opened it myself — I was only commanded with something and I followed it.
