حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ فَقَالَ أَمَا إِنَّكُمْ سَتُعْرَضُونَ عَلَى رَبِّكُمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَتَرَوْنَهُ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ هَذَا الْقَمَرَ لَا تُضَامُونَ فَإِنْ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ لَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى صَلَاةٍ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا فَافْعَلُوا ثُمَّ قَرَأَ فَ { سَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ }.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' told us: Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid told us, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from Jarir ibn Abdullah, who said: We were sitting with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he looked at the moon on the night of the full moon and said: You shall indeed be shown to your Lord, Mighty and Majestic, and you will see Him just as you see this moon, without any crowding to see Him. So if you are able not to be overcome regarding a prayer before sunrise and before sunset, then do so. Then he recited: {Glorify your Lord with praise before the rising of the sun and before its setting}.
