Abu Sa'id told us: Za'ida told us: Asim told us, from Shaqiq, from Jarir, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, stipulate conditions upon me, for you know best the conditions." He said, "I pledge you allegiance upon that you worship Allah, not associating anything with Him, that you establish the prayer, give the zakat, give sincere counsel to the Muslim, and disavow yourself from the polytheist."
