حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ قَالَ قَالَ لِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا تُرِيحُنِي مِنْ ذِي الْخَلَصَةِ وَكَانَ بَيْتًا فِي خَثْعَمَ يُسَمَّى كَعْبَةَ الْيَمَانِيَةِ قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْتُ فِي خَمْسِينَ وَمِائَةِ فَارِسٍ مِنْ أَحْمَسَ وَكَانُوا أَصْحَابَ خَيْلٍ فَأَخْبَرْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنِّي لَا أَثْبُتُ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ فَضَرَبَ فِي صَدْرِي حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ أَثَرَ أَصَابِعِهِ فِي صَدْرِي وَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ وَاجْعَلْهُ هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا فَانْطَلَقَ إِلَيْهَا فَكَسَّرَهَا وَحَرَّقَهَا فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبَشِّرُهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ جَرِيرٍ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ مَا جِئْتُكَ حَتَّى تَرَكْتُهَا كَأَنَّهَا جَمَلٌ أَجْرَبُ فَبَارَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى خَيْلِ أَحْمَسَ وَرِجَالِهَا خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Isma'il, who said: Qays told me, who said: Jarir ibn Abdullah said to me: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me, "Will you not relieve me of Dhu al-Khalasa?" - and it was a house among Khath'am called the Yemeni Ka'ba. He said: So I set out with a hundred and fifty horsemen from Ahmas, who were skilled horsemen, and I informed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that I could not stay steady on a horse. So he struck my chest until I saw the mark of his fingers on my chest, and said, "O Allah, make him steady and make him a guide, rightly guided." So he went to it and broke it and burned it, then sent to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to give him the good news. Jarir's messenger said to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, "By Him who sent you with truth, I did not come to you until I had left it like a mangy camel." So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, blessed the horses and men of Ahmas five times.
