حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَجِيلَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى يَقُولُ كَانَتْ جَارِيَةٌ تَضْرِبُ بِالدُّفِّ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُمَرُ ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ فَأَمْسَكَتْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ عُثْمَانَ رَجُلٌ حَيِيٌّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, a man from Bajilah informed me, he said: I heard Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa say: There was a slave-girl striking a tambourine in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Then Abu Bakr came, then 'Umar came, then 'Uthman, may Allah Almighty be pleased with him, came, so she stopped. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed 'Uthman is a shy man."
