Yahya ibn Ghaylan narrated to us, he said: Rishdin ibn Sa'd narrated to us, he said: Bakr ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Hubayrah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr, that a man who had served the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for eight years narrated to him, saying: When food was brought near to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he would say, "In the name of Allah," and when he finished his food he would say, "O Allah, You have fed and given drink, made rich and given possessions, guided and chosen — so to You is praise for what You have given."
