حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نُمَيْرِ بْنِ عَرِيبٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ الْجُمَحِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّوْمُ فِي الشِّتَاءِ الْغَنِيمَةُ الْبَارِدَةُ.

Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Numayr ibn Arib, from Amir ibn Mas'ud al-Jumahi, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Fasting in winter is the cool spoil (an easy gain)."
