Yazid told us: Ash'ath ibn Sawwar informed us, from Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il ibn Hujr, from his father, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I saw in his face something I would not trade for the face of any man among the desert Arabs. I prayed behind him; he used to raise his hands every time he said the takbir and raised his head, and place his hands between the two prostrations, and give the greeting of peace to his right and to his left.
