حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَهْلُ بَيْتِي عَنْ أَبِي أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ مَعَ التَّكْبِيرَةِ وَيَضَعُ يَمِينَهُ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ.

Waki' told us, from al-Mas'udi, from Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il: My household told me, from my father, that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raise his hands with the takbir, and place his right hand over his left in prayer.
