حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَنْبَأَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَيْسَرَةُ أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ قَالَ أَتَانَا مُصَدِّقُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَجَلَسْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ فِي عَهْدِي أَنْ لَا آخُذَ مِنْ رَاضِعِ لَبَنٍ وَلَا يُجْمَعُ بَيْنَ مُتَفَرِّقٍ وَلَا يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَ مُجْتَمِعٍ وَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ بِنَاقَةٍ كَوْمَاءَ فَقَالَ خُذْهَا فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْخُذَهَا.

Hushaym told us: Hilal ibn Khabbab informed us, he said: Maysarah Abu Salih told me, from Suwayd ibn Ghafalah, who said: The zakat-collector of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us. He said: I sat with him and heard him say: "It is part of my covenant that I not take a still-nursing animal, that separate flocks not be combined, nor combined flocks be separated." Then a man brought him a fine, humped she-camel and said, "Take it," but he refused to take it.
