حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقَدَّمُوا الشَّهْرَ حَتَّى تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ أَوْ تَرَوْا الْهِلَالَ وَصُومُوا وَلَا تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ أَوْ يَرَوْا الْهِلَالَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Rahman told us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Rib'i ibn Hirash, from one of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not anticipate the month until you have completed the count of days or sighted the new moon; and fast and do not break the fast until you have completed the count or they sight the new moon."
