حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحِجَامَةِ لِلصَّائِمِ وَالْمُوَاصَلَةِ وَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهَا عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أُوَاصِلُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ وَإِنَّ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِي.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Sufyan told us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abis, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade cupping for the fasting person, and continuous fasting, but did not make it forbidden for any of his Companions. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, you fast continuously until the pre-dawn hour." He said: "I fast continuously until the pre-dawn hour, and indeed my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, feeds me and gives me drink."
