حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجُشَمِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا جُنْدُبٌ قَالَ جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَأَنَاخَ رَاحِلَتَهُ ثُمَّ عَقَلَهَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى رَاحِلَتَهُ فَأَطْلَقَ عِقَالَهَا ثُمَّ رَكِبَهَا ثُمَّ نَادَى اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي وَمُحَمَّدًا وَلَا تُشْرِكْ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا أَحَدًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَقُولُونَ هَذَا أَضَلُّ أَمْ بَعِيرُهُ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا مَا قَالَ قَالُوا بَلَى قَالَ لَقَدْ حَظَرْتَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً يَتَعَاطَفُ بِهَا الْخَلَائِقُ جِنُّهَا وَإِنْسُهَا وَبَهَائِمُهَا وَعِنْدَهُ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ أَتَقُولُونَ هُوَ أَضَلُّ أَمْ بَعِيرُهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Samad told us: my father told us: al-Jurayri informed us, from Abu Abdullah al-Jushami: Jundub told us, he said: A bedouin came and made his mount kneel, then hobbled it, then prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished praying, he went to his mount, untied its hobble, then mounted it, then called out: "O Allah, have mercy on me and on Muhammad, and do not associate anyone else in Your mercy toward us." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you say this man has gone astray, or his camel? Did you not hear what he said?" They said: "Yes indeed." He said: "You have restricted something vast - the mercy of Allah is vast. Allah created a hundred mercies, and He sent down one mercy by which all creatures show compassion to one another - the jinn, mankind, and the animals - while ninety-nine remain with Him. Do you say he has gone astray, or his camel?"
