حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ أَصَابَ إِصْبَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْءٌ وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَجَرٌ فَدَمِيَتْ فَقَالَ هَلْ أَنْتِ إِلَّا إِصْبَعٌ دَمِيتِ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَا لَقِيتِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Affan told us, they said: Shu'bah told us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, from Jundub, who said: Something struck the finger of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) - Ibn Ja'far said: a stone - and it bled, so he said: "Are you anything but a finger that has bled? What befell you was in the way of Allah."
