حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ وَهُوَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ عُتْبَةُ هَابَهُ فَسَكَتَ قَالَ فَحَدَّثَ عَنْ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي رَمَضَانَ تُغَلَّقُ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ وَتُفَتَّحُ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ وَتُصَفَّدُ فِيهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ قَالَ وَيُنَادِي فِيهِ مَلَكٌ يَا بَاغِيَ الْخَيْرِ أَبْشِرْ يَا بَاغِيَ الشَّرِّ أَقْصِرْ حَتَّى يَنْقَضِيَ رَمَضَانُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abidah ibn Humayd Abu 'Abd al-Rahman told us: 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib told me, from 'Arfajah, who said: I was with 'Utbah ibn Farqad while he was narrating about Ramadan. He said: A man from among the Companions of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, came in upon us, and when 'Utbah saw him he was in awe of him and fell silent. He said: So he narrated about Ramadan. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: In Ramadan the gates of the Fire are closed, the gates of Paradise are opened, and the devils are chained. He said: And an angel calls out in it: O seeker of good, rejoice! O seeker of evil, refrain! - until Ramadan ends.
