حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ ضِرْغَامَةَ بْنِ عُلَيْبَةَ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْصِنِي قَالَ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَإِذَا كُنْتَ فِي مَجْلِسِ قَوْمٍ فَسَمِعْتَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا يُعْجِبُكَ فَأْتِهِ وَإِذَا سَمِعْتَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا تَكْرَهُ فَاتْرُكْهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Rawh told us: Qurrah ibn Khalid told us, from Dirgamah ibn 'Ulaybah ibn Harmalah al-'Anbari, who said: My father told me, from his father, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, advise me. He said: Fear Allah, and if you are in a gathering of people and you hear them saying something that pleases you, join it; and if you hear them saying something you dislike, leave it.
