حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ يَثْرِبَ فَلْيَسْتَغْفِرْ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هِيَ طَابَةُ هِيَ طَابَةُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibrahim ibn Mahdi told us: Salih ibn Umar told us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from al-Bara', who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever names Medina 'Yathrib,' let him seek Allah's forgiveness; it is Tabah, it is Tabah."
