حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ أُتِيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فِي امْرَأَةٍ تَزَوَّجَهَا رَجُلٌ فَتُوُفِّيَ وَلَمْ يَفْرِضْ لَهَا صَدَاقًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ دَخَلَ بِهَا قَالَ فَاخْتَلَفُوا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَرَى لَهَا مِثْلُ صَدَاقِ نِسَائِهَا وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ فَشَهِدَ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى فِي بِرْوَعَ بِنْتِ وَاشِقٍ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid told us: Sufyan informed us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, who said: Abdullah was consulted about a woman whom a man had married and then died, without having fixed a dower for her and without having consummated the marriage with her. He said: They kept coming to him about it, and he said, "I think she should have the dower of women like her, she has the inheritance, and she must observe the waiting period." Then Ma'qil b. Sinan al-Ashja'i testified that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave judgment regarding Birwa bint Washiq in the same way.
