حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ يَخْطُبُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَهْوَنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رَجُلٌ يُجْعَلُ فِي أَخْمَصِ قَدَمَيْهِ نَعْلَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ يَغْلِي مِنْهُمَا دِمَاغُهُ.

Yahya b. Sa'id told us, from Shu'ba, who said: Abu Ishaq told me, he said: I heard al-Nu'man b. Bashir delivering a sermon, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "The lightest of the people of the Fire in punishment on the Day of Resurrection is a man who will have two sandals of fire placed on the soles of his feet, from which his brain will boil."
