Abdullah ibn Idris told us, who said: I heard my father mention it from Simak, from Alqamah ibn Wa'il, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, sent me to Najran. They said, "What do you say of what you recite, 'O sister of Aaron and Moses,' though she lived so long before Jesus?" He said: I returned and mentioned it to the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, "Did you not tell them that they used to name themselves after the prophets and righteous people before them?"
