حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدٌ وَيَعْقُوبُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَعْدُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ تَخَلَّفْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَتَبَرَّزَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيَّ وَمَعِي الْإِدَاوَةُ قَالَ فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَى يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ اسْتَنْثَرَ قَالَ يَعْقُوبُ ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُخْرِجَهُمَا مِنْ كُمَّيْ جُبَّتِهِ فَضَاقَ عَنْهُ كُمَّاهَا فَأَخْرَجَ يَدَهُ مِنْ الْجُبَّةِ فَغَسَلَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَيَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَمَسَحَ بِخُفَّيْهِ وَلَمْ يَنْزِعْهُمَا ثُمَّ عَمَدَ إِلَى النَّاسِ فَوَجَدَهُمْ قَدْ قَدَّمُوا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ فَأَدْرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِحْدَى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَصَلَّى مَعَ النَّاسِ الرَّكْعَةَ الْآخِرَةَ بِصَلَاةِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُتِمُّ صَلَاتَهُ فَأَفْزَعَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَأَكْثَرُوا التَّسْبِيحَ فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ قَدْ أَحْسَنْتُمْ وَأَصَبْتُمْ يَغْبِطُهُمْ أَنْ صَلَّوْا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sa'd and Ya'qub told us, they said: our father told us, from Salih, from Ibn Shihab: Abbad ibn Ziyad told me — Sa'd said: Abu Sufyan — from Urwah ibn al-Mughirah, from his father al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, who said: I fell behind with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, during the expedition of Tabuk. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, went to relieve himself, then returned to me while I had the water vessel with me. I poured water on the hands of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him; he blew his nose — Ya'qub said: then rinsed his mouth — then washed his face three times. Then he wanted to wash his hands before bringing them out of the sleeves of his cloak, but the sleeves were too tight for it, so he brought his hand out of the cloak and washed his right hand three times and his left hand three times, and wiped over his leather socks without removing them. Then he made his way to the people and found that they had put forward Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf to lead them in prayer. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, caught one of the two rak'ahs and prayed the last rak'ah with the people following Abd al-Rahman's prayer. When Abd al-Rahman gave the salutation, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, stood to complete his prayer, which alarmed the Muslims, and they said "Subhan Allah" repeatedly. When the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, finished, he turned to them and said, "You have done well and acted rightly," which pleased them for having prayed the prayer at its proper time.
