حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ الْحَدَّادُ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ.

Abd al-Wahid al-Haddad told us, Sa'id ibn Ubaydullah al-Thaqafi told us, from Ziyad ibn Jubayr, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The rider walks behind the funeral bier, and the one on foot may walk wherever he wishes around it, and the funeral prayer is performed for a child."
