حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بَكْرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَصْلَتَانِ لَا أَسْأَلُ عَنْهُمَا أَحَدًا مِنْ النَّاسِ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَهُمَا صَلَاةُ الْإِمَامِ خَلْفَ الرَّجُلِ مِنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى خَلْفَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَمَسْحُ الرَّجُلِ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Sa'id told us: I heard Bakr ibn Abdullah narrate from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah that he said: There are two matters about which I do not ask anyone, for I saw the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, do them himself: the imam praying behind one of his subjects — I saw the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, pray one rak'ah of the dawn prayer behind Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf — and a man wiping over his leather socks — I saw the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, wipe over the leather socks.
