انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated to us by Affan, who said: it was narrated to us by Hammad ibn Salamah, who said: it was reported to us by Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh, who said: I went in the morning to Safwan ibn Assal al-Muradi to ask him about wiping over the leather socks. He said, "What brought you here?" I said, "Seeking knowledge." He said, "Shall I not give you glad tidings?" and he traced the report back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said, "Indeed the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge, pleased with what he seeks," and he mentioned the hadith.
