حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْمُسْتَوْرِدَ أَخَا بَنِي فِهْرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاللَّهِ مَا الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا مِثْلُ مَا يَجْعَلُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِصْبَعَهُ فِي الْيَمِّ فَلْيَنْظُرْ بِمَ تَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Isma'il, he said: Qays told me, he said: I heard al-Mustawrid, brother of Banu Fihr, say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "By Allah, this world compared to the Hereafter is only like when one of you puts his finger into the sea; let him see what it comes back with."
