حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ قَيْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْمُسْتَوْرِدَ أَخَا بَنِي فِهْرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ مَا الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا مِثْلُ مَا يَجْعَلُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِصْبَعَهُ فِي الْيَمِّ فَلْيَنْظُرْ بِمَ تَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ja'far ibn Awn told us, he said: Isma'il told us, from Qays, who said: I heard al-Mustawrid, brother of Banu Fihr, say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "By Allah, this world compared to the Hereafter is only like when one of you puts his finger into the sea; let him see what it comes back with."
