حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى جَيْشِ ذَاتِ السَّلَاسِلِ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ عَائِشَةُ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَمِنْ الرِّجَالِ قَالَ أَبُوهَا إِذًا قَالَ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ عُمَرُ قَالَ فَعَدَّ رِجَالًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya b. Hammad told us, he said: 'Abd al-'Aziz b. al-Mukhtar informed us, from Khalid al-Hadhdha', from Abu 'Uthman, who said: 'Amr b. al-'As told me, he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me in command of the army of Dhat al-Salasil." He said: "So I came to him." He said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who among the people is most beloved to you?' He said: ''A'isha.' I said: 'Then among the men?' He said: 'Her father, then.' I said: 'Then who?' He said: ''Umar.'" So he named men one after another.
