حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَمَّا قُتِلَ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ دَخَلَ عَمْرُو بْنُ حَزْمٍ عَلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ فَقَالَ قُتِلَ عَمَّارٌ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ فَقَامَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ فَزِعًا يُرَجِّعُ حَتَّى دَخَلَ عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ مَا شَأْنُكَ قَالَ قُتِلَ عَمَّارٌ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ قَدْ قُتِلَ عَمَّارٌ فَمَاذَا قَالَ عَمْرٌو سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ فَقَالَ لَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ دُحِضْتَ فِي بَوْلِكَ أَوَنَحْنُ قَتَلْنَاهُ إِنَّمَا قَتَلَهُ عَلِيٌّ وَأَصْحَابُهُ جَاءُوا بِهِ حَتَّى أَلْقَوْهُ بَيْنَ رِمَاحِنَا أَوْ قَالَ بَيْنَ سُيُوفِنَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Razzaq told us, he said: Ma'mar told us, from Ibn Tawus, from Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm, from his father, who said: When Ammar ibn Yasir was killed, Amr ibn Hazm came to Amr ibn al-As and said, "Ammar has been killed, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'The transgressing group will kill him.'" Amr ibn al-As stood up in alarm, repeating words of distress, until he entered upon Mu'awiyah. Mu'awiyah said to him, "What is the matter with you?" He said, "Ammar has been killed." Mu'awiyah said, "Ammar has been killed — so what?" Amr said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'The transgressing group will kill him.'" Mu'awiyah said to him, "You have stumbled in your own reasoning — did we kill him? It was Ali and his companions who killed him; they brought him and threw him among our spears," or he said, "among our swords."
