حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَيْسًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ ابْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ مِنْكُمْ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَكَتَمَنَا مَخِيطًا فَهُوَ غُلٌّ يَأْتِي بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ آدَمُ طُوَالٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ لَا حَاجَةَ لِي فِي عَمَلِكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِمَ قَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُكَ آنِفًا تَقُولُ قَالَ فَأَنَا أَقُولُ الْآنَ مَنْ اسْتَعْمَلْنَاهُ مِنْكُمْ عَلَى عَمَلٍ فَلْيَأْتِ بِقَلِيلِهِ وَكَثِيرِهِ فَإِنْ أُتِيَ بِشَيْءٍ أَخَذَهُ وَإِنْ نُهِيَ عَنْهُ انْتَهَى.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, he said: Shu'bah told us, from Isma'il, he said: I heard Qays narrating from Adi ibn Amirah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: Whoever among you we employ over a task and he conceals from us [even] a needle, it is misappropriated goods which he will bring on the Day of Resurrection. Then a man from the people stood up — dark-complexioned, tall, from the Ansar — and said: I have no need for your assignment. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: Why? He said: I heard you just now say such. He said: And I say now: whoever among you we employ over a task, let him bring its little and its much; if he is given something, let him take it, and if he is forbidden something, let him refrain.
