Ali ibn Ayyash told us, Hassan ibn Nuh told us, from Amr ibn Qays, from Abdullah ibn Busr, who said: Two bedouins came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. One of them said: 'Who is the best of men, O Muhammad?' The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'He whose life is long and whose deeds are good.' The other said: 'The laws of Islam have become numerous for us, so tell us of a comprehensive matter we may hold fast to.' He said: 'Let your tongue remain ever moist with the remembrance of Allah, Mighty and Sublime.'
