حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ خَرَشَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَشْهَدَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ قَتِيلًا لَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ قُتِلَ ظُلْمًا فَيُصِيبَهُ السَّخَطُ.

Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Abi Habib narrated to us, from Kharashah ibn al-Harith - who was one of the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him - from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: Let none of you attend a slain man, for perhaps he was killed unjustly, and so wrath may befall him.
