أَنْبَأَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مَا تَعْقِلُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ صَعِدْتُ مَعَهُ غُرْفَةَ الصَّدَقَةِ فَأَخَذْتُ تَمْرَةً فَلُكْتُهَا فِي فِيَّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلْقِهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا الصَّدَقَةُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Husayn ibn Ali was asked: 'What do you remember from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?' He said: 'I went up with him to the room of charity and took a date and chewed it in my mouth. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Throw it out, for charity is not permissible for us.'
