حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مِشْرَحٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ الْقُرْآنَ جُعِلَ فِي إِهَابٍ ثُمَّ أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ مَا احْتَرَقَ.

Abu Sa'id narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Mishrah narrated to us, who said: I heard 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If the Qur'an were put in a skin and then thrown into the fire, it would not burn."
