حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثٌ إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ شِفَاءٌ فَفِي شَرْطَةِ مُحْجِمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ كَيَّةٍ تُصِيبُ أَلَمًا وَأَنَا أَكْرَهُ الْكَيَّ وَلَا أُحِبُّهُ.

'Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, 'Abdullah narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi Ayyub narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah ibn al-Walid narrated to us, from Abu al-Khayr, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir al-Juhani, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Three things: if there is healing in anything, it is in a cupping incision, a drink of honey, or a cauterization that causes pain - but I dislike cauterization and do not like it."
