حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَوْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ فِيكُمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ وُلَاتُهُ وَلَنْ يَزَالَ فِيكُمْ حَتَّى تُحْدِثُوا أَعْمَالًا فَإِذَا فَعَلْتُمْ ذَلِكَ بَعَثَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ شَرَّ خَلْقِهِ فَيَلْتَحِيكُمْ كَمَا يُلْتَحَى الْقَضِيبُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Habib - meaning Ibn Abi Thabit - from Ubaydullah ibn al-Qasim, or al-Qasim ibn Ubaydullah ibn Utbah, from Abu Mas'ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon to us and said, "Indeed, this authority is among you, and you are its holders, and it will remain among you until you introduce evil innovations in deeds. When you do that, Allah, Mighty and Sublime, will send upon you the worst of His creation, who will strip you bare just as a branch is stripped bare."
