Yahya ibn Ishaq told us: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Bakr ibn Sawadah — and Surayj, that is, Ibn al-Nu'man, told us, saying: Ibn Wahb told us, from Amr ibn al-Harith, from Bakr ibn Sawadah, from Abu Salim al-Jayshani, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever shelters a lost animal is himself astray as long as he does not announce it publicly."
