حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ يُرِدْ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهُّ فِي الدِّينِ وَلَنْ تَزَالَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةُ أُمَّةً قَائِمَةً عَلَى أَمْرِ اللَّهِ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ ظَاهِرُونَ عَلَى النَّاسِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Salama al-Khuza'i narrated to us: Layth, that is ibn Sa'd, informed us from Yazid ibn al-Had from 'Abd al-Wahhab ibn Abi Bakr from Ibn Shihab from Humayd ibn 'Abd al-Rahman from Mu'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Whoever Allah wishes good for, He grants him understanding of the religion, and this nation will never cease to be a nation standing firm upon the command of Allah, not harmed by whoever opposes them, until the command of Allah comes, and they remain dominant over the people.'
