قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لِقُرَيْشٍ فِي هَذَا الْأَمْرِ خِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ خِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ إِذَا فَقِهُوا وَاللَّهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ تَبْطَرَ قُرَيْشٌ لَأَخْبَرْتُهَا مَا لِخِيَارِهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'The people follow Quraysh in this matter; their best in pre-Islamic times are their best in Islam, once they attain understanding of religion. By Allah, were it not that Quraysh would grow arrogant, I would surely inform them what awaits their best ones with Allah, Mighty and Majestic.'
