حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مَعْبَدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ كَانَ مُعَاوِيَةُ قَلَّمَا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَكَانَ قَلَّمَا يَكَادُ أَنْ يَدَعَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ أَنْ يُحَدِّثَ بِهِنَّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ يُرِدْ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهُّ فِي الدِّينِ وَإِنَّ هَذَا الْمَالَ حُلْوٌ خَضِرٌ فَمَنْ يَأْخُذْهُ بِحَقِّهِ يُبَارَكْ لَهُ فِيهِ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالتَّمَادُحَ فَإِنَّهُ الذَّبْحُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, he said: Shu'bah and Hajjaj told us - Hajjaj said: Shu'bah informed us - from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Ma'bad al-Juhani, who said: Mu'awiyah rarely narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: He would rarely fail, on a Friday, to narrate these words from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: Whomever Allah intends good for, He gives him understanding of the religion; and indeed this wealth is sweet and green, so whoever takes it by its right will be blessed in it; and beware of excessive mutual praise, for it is slaughter.
