قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ لِي أَسْمَاءً أَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِي الْكُفْرَ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمِي وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ قُلْتُ لِلزُّهْرِيِّ مَا الْعَاقِبُ قَالَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ نَبِيٌّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: Abd al-Razzaq told us, he said: Ma'mar told us, from al-Zuhri, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: I have names: I am Ahmad, and I am Muhammad, and I am al-Mahi, by whom Allah erases disbelief, and I am al-Hashir, by whose footsteps the people will be gathered, and I am al-Aqib. Ma'mar said: I said to al-Zuhri: What is al-Aqib? He said: The one after whom there is no prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
