قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ أَنَّ شَيْخًا مِنْ بَنِي سَلِيطٍ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُكَلِّمُهُ فِي سَبْيٍ أُصِيبَ لَنَا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَإِذَا هُوَ قَاعِدٌ وَعَلَيْهِ حَلْقَةٌ قَدْ أَطَافَتْ بِهِ وَهُوَ يُحَدِّثُ الْقَوْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِزَارُ قِطْرٍ لَهُ غَلِيظٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا يَقُولُ أَيْ فِي الْقَلْبِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Nadr told us: al-Mubarak told us: al-Hasan told us that a shaykh from Banu Salit informed him, saying: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to speak to him about captives taken from us in the age of ignorance. He was sitting with a circle of people gathered around him, speaking to them, wearing a thick striped lower garment. He said: I heard him say, pointing with his finger: "The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim; he does not wrong him nor forsake him. Piety is here, piety is here" - meaning in the heart.
