قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ حَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَسَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا كُنَّا فِي غَزَاةٍ فَجَاءَنَا رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اسْتَمْتِعُوا.

He said: 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, who said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, who said: 'Amr ibn Dinar informed me, from Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn 'Ali, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah and Salamah ibn al-Akwa' - a man among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him - that both of them said: We were on a military expedition when a messenger of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to us and said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, says: 'Enjoy yourselves.'"
