قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ عُدُسٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحِكَ رَبُّنَا مِنْ قُنُوطِ عَبْدِهِ وَقُرْبِ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوَيَضْحَكُ الرَّبُّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ لَنْ نَعْدَمَ مِنْ رَبٍّ يَضْحَكُ خَيْرًا.

He said, Yazid ibn Harun told us: Hammad ibn Salama informed us, from Ya'la ibn Ata', from Waki' ibn Udus, from his uncle Abu Razin, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Our Lord laughed at the despair of His servant and the nearness of relief for him.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, does the Lord, Mighty and Majestic, laugh?' He said, 'Yes.' I said, 'We shall never lack good from a Lord who laughs.'
