قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ غَدَا فَابْتَكَرَ وَجَلَسَ مِنْ الْإِمَامِ قَرِيبًا فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ خَطْوَةٍ أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا.

He said, Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri told us: Sufyan told us, from Abdullah ibn Isa, from Yahya ibn al-Harith, from Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani, from Aws ibn Aws al-Thaqafi, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Whoever washes and takes a full bath, then goes early and hastens, and sits near the imam, and listens attentively and remains silent, will have, for every step, the reward of fasting and standing in prayer for a year.'
