He said, al-Hakam ibn Nafi' told us: Isma'il ibn Ayyash told us, from Rashid ibn Dawud al-San'ani, from Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani, from Aws ibn Aws al-Thaqafi, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: 'Whoever takes a full bath on Friday and washes, then hastens and goes early to the mosque, then sits near the imam so as to listen attentively, will have, for every step he takes, the deeds of a year — its fasting and its standing in prayer.'
