قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْسٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبِي يَوْمًا تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ النَّعْلَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَتَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهِمَا فَقَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْعَلُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said, Bahz ibn Asad told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us: Ya'la ibn Ata' informed us, from Aws ibn Abi Aws, who said: I saw my father one day perform ablution and wipe over his two sandals, so I said to him, 'Do you wipe over them?' He said, 'This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, do.'
